Description

The light in this model is positioned clearly at the highest point. The large glass bulb appears as a distinct and calm volume resting above the structure below.

Rather than forming a single solid base, the lower body consists of organic extensions that emerge from the center, arc outward, and return back. These arms curve upward, then reconnect with the ground, creating rhythmic transitions around the structure.

This circulating structure carries a movement reminiscent of the winding tendrils of plants.

While the rough matte surface softens the light, the transparent glass bulb remains above as the simplest and most defined volume of the form. This creates a strong visual tension between the clarity of the glass and the textured character of the organic substructure.

With its arching extensions that reach upward, Tendril takes its place in the space as a sculptural presence.

This rising character of the form is interpreted through two different leg heights: short and tall. In this way, Tendril takes on a different stance depending on the space it inhabits.
